It´s not the authorities or the government that is making life hard for Renault, it´s Renault itself. That is my personal oppinion. Renault is now charging costumers for a spare tire, just like german companies. If you look at the Clio, even in dynamique trim, you have to pay an extra for electric power and heated mirrors, something you don´t even have to pay in a Twingo Dynamique. So the product policy isn´t really thought through. In Germany, Renault is making it real hard for customers to really get what they want, you want a big engine, you have to also pay the extra for the top trim level and so on.
